Can we have the option to turn off "going through the game by scrolling" ?

With the mouse I am using one sometimes accidentally scrolls.
And since scrolling takes you through the game, this can be inconvenient.
Therefore I would like to have the option of making it so that scrolling doesn't do anything.
A simpler, quicker solution is for you to learn how to properly use your mouse.
You can disable scrolling in your control panel under the mouse icon. Or you can use the arrow keys on your keyboard like I do.
@FleshBishop Clearly you have never used an apple magic mouse, there is no scroll wheel just one surface the slightest touch of which can be interpreted as scrolling.
Also, for example, there is the option to turn off entering moves by clicking and only allowing moves to be entered by dragging, I don't see why the option I suggest adding is entirely different from that (it has a similar purpose: preventing unintended input).

Obviously I don't want to disable scrolling altogether...
I just don't want to suddenly start scrolling through the game on lichess when I am, for example, entering moves.
I do realise that I can go through the game by just using the arrow keys. The problem is the scrolling also happens when I am trying to enter moves.
I see. So you bought an overpriced, inferior mouse with an inconvenient feature and you want Lichess to add an option to make said inconvenient feature less inconvenient.
First of all the mouse came with my computer...
Secondly the mouse is good for many things. I don't have a problem with it anywhere other than on lichess. For some reason scrolling through the game on lichess is set to be very sensitive, if I scroll just a tiny bit it goes like 10 moves forward.
Anyway, adding the feature I am suggesting would require a few lines of code at most.
@Vincent_P Did you ever figure out a solution? I'm having the same problem. It's too bad... lichess is great otherwise, but this is a deal breaker.
Why don't you help them out by writing the code and giving it to lichess to make it easier on them? That's what I would do. All you have to do is download 1 program and press a few buttons. It's not hard to do. You just have to use a 10th of brain for about 20-30 minutes. There's also website you can do it on. You could even find a code by search on google that's really close to the one u want. I know because I did it for u.
