Mr Briscoe's School Chess Clubs

This new club ('Mr. Briscoe's School Chess Clubs') has been formed for players who attend my chess clubs in any of the different schools that I would normally teach at. We will run tournaments when we get over 20 members, and even aim to arrange inter-school team matches in time!

One of the purposes of this club will be, to some extent, to continue the school chess clubs during this time of school closure, and to therefore keep the pleasure of the game open to players who would normally be attending my clubs. Also this will give these same juniors a chance to see how they do against players from other schools whom they would not normally play chess with!

Players who do well, will have the opportunity to be promoted up to my Surbiton Juniors club which is a higher level of chess and opportunities of further improvement.
