London system move order

Hi guys!
What move order do you think is the best way to play our beloved london system. And explain why.
1.d4 Nf6 2.Nf3 b6 3.Bf4?! Ba6! is sub-optimal.

When Black goes for KID LS is rather not recommended, after 1. ... d6 or g6 it might be outright bad. (Bg7, Nd7, e5!). Even LS authors don’t go for their pet line after g6/d6.

I recommend it solely against a black d5.

@Sarg0n Against the line you mentioned with b6 in the second move, I should have prefer to have played 2.Bf4 because in the third move I can play e3 and your bhisop on a6 is not that strong.
1.d4 Nf6 2.Bf4 b6 3. e6 Ba6 .. now I can take the bishop or move it to d3. What do you think?
Kingscrusher has a youtube video on this very subject, illustrates Magnus Carlsens new method with a delayed Nf3, leaving options open for the light squared bishop. Give it a look.
I like the colle system vs. the k.i.d. / the london is good vs. d5 or d6. The bird; nimzo-larson attack; ruy lopez; mieses; reti; hungarian; and english are all much more fun to play as white than a d4 opening... just my not so humble opinION.
