Lichess Custom Tournaments

Hi,

I just created a private lichess tournament and noticed that there was something I wanted to change. Is it possible to delete a tournament? I didn't find such an option.

Furthermore, it would be cool if one could make tournaments round-based to ensure that everyone plays the same number of games. As I see the point of the current system, it would be a good idea to insert a checkbox for this purpose.

Best regards,

@AcademicNinja99 There are currently no players in my tournament, but I am still able to reach it using the link that was generated. This is of course not a huge problem, but I don't want to put millions of tournaments that I just use as a little test onto the lichess server.
@AcademicNinja99 The tournament will only be cancelled if the starting point is set to a time relative to the creation. Otherwise, it doesn't disappear and still exists. In my case, I set the starting point to next friday, 8:00 pm.

What I want to achieve is the creation of an online tournament for my chess club as the normal over-the-board play has been stopped (Corona...). The tournament will then be officially announced on our homepage. However, most of the people in our club would like to have it round-based. And obviously, I have to set a fixed starting time which is the same as the time announced on our homepage.

Oh I see, in that case I don’t think you can actually delete it.

If you want to have a round based tournament you need to organize it manually with individual games, by getting a list of participants, pairing them yourself for round 1, getting the results, pairing the winners for round 2 etc. Unfortunately Lichess only has the Arena format for tournaments.
