The Czech is not for the faint of heart

@RealDavidNavara said in #9:
> Quite an interesting game and position, thank you for showing it!
> As far as I can remember, IM Josef Přibyl was showing 5...Bg4 6.Nf3 Qb6 in some of his lectures in 1990's on the topic and did not recommend to play the Czech System with Black. (I vaguely remember a line 7.Na4 Bxf3 8.gxf3 Qxd4? 9.c3 from then.) He was critical of his earlier opening choices against 1.e4, recommending us to play sounder openings.
> As far as I know, GM Vlastimil Hort contributed to the development of the Czech System as well, but I might be confusing it with his significant contribution to the theory of the Alekhine Defence many decades ago.
> (By the way, I was a disciple of both IM Josef Přibyl and GM Vlastimil Jansa.)

Actually I know virtually all sources including the original www.amazon.com/How-Play-Pirc-System-Black/dp/B00185VBSQ
Which is actually really bad :) It is much worse than the opening itself. A much better one is Lakdawala's 1. ... d6. There are some video courses by FM Krykun or GM Papp as well. Plus some minor sources. A Kasparov - Deep Blue game and so on.

On amateur level it is the best opening I ever had. In practical play in every e4 game I am better at some point of the opening, worst case is equality. And tons of short games under 10 moves. Like

I am in the midst of an chessable course, so stay tuned. It'll take some time!
I came across this particular position in #1 while analysing some lines for the course. Interesting indeed, you can enter a further 30 unique moves and it's still 0.00 :D
