It would be cool if we could have database of the openings lichess users use and a database of moves for a certain individual. It would be kind of like this [url] http://www.chess.com/explorer/?player=Chop-That-Wood [/url] but it would include all of the games.
Yes, this is really important part of a chess site. Because it can be used to improve yourself in openings.
I would love to have an opening explorer on lichess. Currently I am using http://www.365chess.com/opening.php
For me it is the best way to learn openings.

Chess database is easy to find online, also lichess has it's own database with millions of games stores on servers. Examining statistics for normal chess or chess variants could be very interesting.
