I fully support this idea: "nehui shastat'"

This one is even better!
Im sorry for the idiots who dont get what is happening in the Ukraine right now. They didnt get Crimea and now there are Tos-1 and Tos 1A in city centers. Your facebook checkmarks dont do shit+++++++++++++
This forum is dominated by Russophobic prejudices that insult me and Russia. This is where the insult to human personality all the way down to full blown profanity began. Based on the above, Lichess has every reason to block several players on this forum.

Man, you are on fire today! Yes-yes, please ban those russians, Lichess. You may not even stop on "several players"!

You're on that list!
:( :( :(

Serously though, russians should be getting used to this attitude towards them because of what their country is doing. If you think there are better places, you are welcome to go there.
Looking forward to when lichess bans all Americans because of Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, and so many more war crimes perpetrated by my government.

Solidarity with everyone under the yoke of warfare and occupation right now, especially civilians in Ukraine, Yemen, and Palestine. But banning random people in aggressor countries because their governments are committing crimes they can't prevent doesn't help those suffering. It doesn't do anything at all, except alienate powerless people on the internet and help passive news consumers pretend they have some active control over the horror they are witnessing when they don't have any.

If you want to do anything to the Russian people that might help the people of Ukraine, show solidarity for the anti-war protestors risking their well-being marching outside the Kremlin. Share their messages and videos as widely as you can. If you want to limit it to chess share the statements of the Russian GMs who have denounced the war.
