Why do we make unprincipled moves in Chess?

There is a solution. Do you think Magnus Carlsen is good at throwing a jab? If you do not know what I am talking about look it up. I am also not speaking metaphorically.
You did not answer my more basic/higher question depending how you look at it. I suppose there is no way to beat someone as dedicated as Magnus or a machine that can calculate to a high depth. I will give you the benefit on the doubt on that for sure. I have one more topic that will shed light on all of this.
