War or Peace

I like cool fantasy fighting stuff, BUT I don’t like wars! I hate killing people using violence and war

I prefer killing them by making their ears bleed due to my voice and making them go mad due to my crazy-talk

That's torture straightaway!

Yeah, thanks Siggy.
The Ukraine war is now the equivalent of a chess position with only 2 kings left but instead of agreeing to a draw Zelensky and NATO chooses to keep playing. But for every move they make it costs $1 billion and so many people die.
So Europe should have just surrendered and given in to Hitler, to prevent more death? This situation is more complicated than that. Conquerors can get a taste for conquest. Hitler didn't stop with Poland, remember?

And the notion that Ukraine was a grave threat to Russia before Russia invaded ... is just baffling.

Did Poland constitute a grave threat to Germany in 1939?

History will NOT be fooled.

This isn't the first time Russian tanks have rolled into a neighbor. Remember? No, most of you probably don't.
Incidentally, when Russia invaded Ukraine, it was NOT a member of NATO. It still isn't. America was not remotely threatening to destroy Russia. Russia hasn't made itself safer by invading Ukraine. It has caused NATO to get stronger, less complacent. Does anybody REALLY think that America was trying to set up some offensive action against Russia, when Russia invaded Ukraine?

Russia could be a great success. But not by aligning the world against it by invading its neighbors. That mostly brings misery.

But it also brings land and natural resources, I guess. Like Poland did in 1939.

I will play Shostakovich, and remind myself that better times might some day return.

WW2 was worth fighting to end the genocide of Jews and others.

This war is a land dispute over an area which wants to be Russian and has consistently voted for pro-Russian parties.

Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries and even the mayor of Kyiv said that Zelensky is acting like a dictator. There's no legitimate reason to support them in the land dispute except the US and Europe wants to because Ukraine is under their influence and Russia wouldn't be

And because of this the media only shows pro-Ukraine propaganda which many have fallen for. Just like nearly everyone did with covid believing we had to stay under house arrest to be safe, and now magically the virus is forgot about like it isn't any danger
@MagnusSon0fCarI , if many people in Arizona and New Mexico started trying to break away from the United States, would Mexico be entitled to invade America if America tried to quell a civil uprising within its own borders? Even if America's politicians weren't wonderful people?

Furthermore, has Russia confined its attacks to one small corner of Ukraine? Or is it trying to take the whole country? What do you think. Are alleged attacks on major Ukrainian cities all "propoganda" and didn't really occur?

I'm genuinely willing to listen. But so far, I'm quite unconvinced.
